Interview with Chris and Jim
by Sallad

Q: So you've been on this tour for a while now with some new bands, how's it all coming along so far?

This has been great really.

Q: So what have been some of the good dates on this tour?

Boston was good, Chi town, Cleveland a couple days ago was fucking
great, I know Jersey is going to rule, and Philly was a great show too.

Q: So have you had any shit dates on this tour?

We try to make the best of whatever, there are no real "shit shows".
This tour has all been pretty good, but what's weird is the hottest shows
we've had were all in Canada but they'd had some of the best crowds, it all
balances out.

Q: So your past American tours have been with Ska is Dead, The Know How,
other ska bands, but who set up such a diverse line up on this tour?

Whole Wheat and Us are booked by Kevin, and I'm not too sure about how
Gym Class Heroes got set up on this, but it's awesome to be so diverse and
we've really had a good time with all these bands.

Q: You were just on Ska Is Dead 2, then in Europe, and now doing another US
tour, so what's the plans coming up after this?

First off we're taking part of this summer off, then we'll be able to go
back and record for the new album finally in 2012.

Q: I thought it was coming ou...

*Interupting* Everything you know is wrong! (we all have a laugh)

Q: On the internet it seems all the ska kids on all the message boards are
always talking about a rumor for Keasby Nights 2, what's the deal with that?

There are no numbers involved I'll tell you that, maybe Keasby Nights
Part Deux.

Q: With Charlie Sheen?

*laughs* yeah, then we'll do Keasby Nights with a vengeance, then Keasby
Nights Begins will be out tomorrow.

Q: So you've been going through some line up changes so I think everyone is
curious what's up with Jamie, Josh, and Dan? I mean are you still cool with
those guys?

Oh yeah, Jamie's being a family man with his wife and being a father,
and he's working as a teacher too. We really haven't seen Josh since we
were in L.A., he lives out there now and he's looking in shape and got all
thin.

Q: From not being on the road with you guys and drinking every night?

Yeah, or he's been working out or something. And we actually saw Jim
right before we left on tour, he's about to get married and we still love
seeing him around.

Q: So another big rumor around on the internet is that you guys and Catch 22
are arch rivals, what's with that?

Now, we're real cool with each other, Kevin came out and hung out at our
Cleveland date of this tour, and on Ska is Dead 2 I think all of them came
out to the Jersey show except Ryan was busy or something, but we're all cool
with one another.

Q: So I'm doing this interview for Ska Is Dead which you know is run by Dave
Kirchgessner of Mustard Plug, so do you have any embarrassing stories you'd
like to share about him while you have the chance?

Actually we've only met that guy like twice.

Q: So no good dirt to share to the people?

Well he was pretty drunk.

Q: Yeah, those guys usually are a little drunk when they're at shows. Well
do you have anything you'd like to say to him since he's going to be reading
this?

Thanks for the Shoes *Points to the Duffs on his feet* these are my
playing shoes.

Q: That's all you've got for dirt is "Thanks for the Shoes"?

Yeah... Thanks for the shoes man.

Q: Alright, I'm gonna go drink some more cheap whisky.

Let's Do It!
